Top Notch Elite Volleyball Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

At Top Notch Elite Volleyball, we believe that character, respect, and integrity are as important as skill. This Code of Conduct sets the standard for all players, coaches, and families representing our club, ensuring a positive, safe, and inclusive environment on and off the court.

For Players

  • Respect: Treat teammates, coaches, officials, opponents, and yourself with respect at all times.

  • Sportsmanship: Win with humility, lose with grace, and always support your teammates.

  • Effort: Arrive on time, work hard, and give your best at practices, games, and events.

  • Communication: Listen to coaches, ask questions respectfully, and use positive language.

  • Responsibility: Care for your equipment, uniforms, and facilities. Clean up after yourself.

  • Integrity: Compete honestly. No cheating, bullying, or unsportsmanlike conduct.

  • Social Media: Represent Top Notch Elite positively online; no negative or inappropriate posts.

  • Safety: Report injuries, unsafe conditions, or inappropriate behavior immediately to a coach or club director.

For Coaches

  • Leadership: Be a positive role model. Foster teamwork, discipline, and confidence.

  • Fairness: Provide equal opportunities for all athletes to learn and grow.

  • Communication: Offer constructive feedback and encourage open dialogue with players and parents.

  • Professionalism: Maintain appropriate boundaries and uphold the highest standards of conduct.

  • Compliance: Follow all OKRVA, USA Volleyball, and Top Notch Elite policies and procedures.

  • Safety: Prioritize athlete well-being. Maintain current certifications and report concerns promptly.

For Parents & Guardians

  • Support: Encourage your athlete and the team. Focus on effort and improvement, not just results.

  • Respect: Treat all players, coaches, officials, and other families with courtesy.

  • Positivity: Cheer enthusiastically, but never coach from the sidelines or criticize officials.

  • Communication: Address concerns privately and respectfully with coaches or the club director.

  • Commitment: Ensure your athlete attends practices and games, and fulfills team responsibilities.

  • Role Modeling: Demonstrate good sportsmanship and uphold the values of Top Notch Elite.

Violations & Consequences

Any violation of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:

  • Verbal or written warning

  • Suspension from practices or games

  • Dismissal from the team or club
    All disciplinary actions will be handled in accordance with OKRVA and USA Volleyball guidelines.

Agreement

By participating in Top Notch Elite Volleyball, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and help create a positive, respectful, and safe environment for everyone.
