Welcome to Top Notch Volleyball Club Tryouts for the 18U Team!

We're excited to see the talent and potential of all aspiring volleyball players. Coach Lawson and Coach Youngblood are looking forward to evaluating your skills and selecting the best 12 players to represent our club this season.
 

Registration Requirements

To participate in the tryouts, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Born on or after September 1, 2006

  • Currently enrolled in 11th or 12th grade

  • Registered with OKRVA and paid all associated fees

  • $10 non-refundable tryout fee (payable to Top Notch Volleyball Club)

What Coaches Are Looking For

Coach Lawson and Coach Youngblood will be evaluating players based on:

  • Fundamental volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking)

  • Athletic ability and potential

  • Teamwork and communication

  • Coachability and attitude

  • Court awareness and volleyball IQ
     

Important Information

  • Only 12 players will be selected for the team

  • Players who meet the requirements but are not selected may try out again in future rounds

  • Walk-ins are welcome and can pay the $10 tryout fee to Coach Lawson at the door

  • All players must bring proof of OKRVA registration to the tryouts
     

OKRVA Registration

Before attending tryouts, ensure you've completed your OKRVA registration and paid all associated fees. This is separate from the tryout fee and must be done through the OKRVA website https://okrva.com/registration/.

 

Tryout Fee

The $10 non-refundable tryout fee helps cover gym rental and incidental costs. This fee is separate from your OKRVA registration and is payable to Top Notch Volleyball Club.

I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian of the player listed below, hereby authorize and consent to their participation in the Top Notch Volleyball Club program for the 2024-2025 season. I agree to all club policies, procedures and financial obligations as outlined in the club handbook and on the club website. I understand that club volleyball requires a significant time and financial commitment, and I agree to support my child's participation to the best of my ability.Furthermore, I certify that my child has no known medical or physical conditions which could interfere with their safely participating in the club volleyball program. I authorize the club to act for me in case of any medical emergency in the event I cannot be reached.By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand and agree to abide by all club rules and policies. I agree to accept responsibility for the risks and hazards inherent in club sports participation. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify the club, its coaches, administrators and representatives from any and all liability stemming from my child's participation in the program.
